The women’s committee of LL914 participated in the breast cancer walk in downtown NEWARK, New Jersey, on October 15, 2023. It was indeed an awesome experience! This event brought awareness that cancer does not discriminate. As a community, it is important to bring awareness to the importance of health screening. Early detection can save lives!
This year, Local Lodge 914 members led by Women’s Committee chairperson Nakia Simmons, led a walk in Newark NJ showing strength, unity and support for women in spreading awareness for Breast Cancer.
