Djenane Sauls, talks about the recent Women’s Appreciation event at our Lodge. She spoke about the phenomenal women guests that attended as well as the countless sisters that attended form the Local and how the guest speakers spoke about their accomplishments and struggles in life as well as our other sisters form the Local. Our sister also talks about the victories and battles that women have fought for and made over the course of the last century such as Women’s Rights, Civil Rights, and the personal journey that she herself underwent to complete her new book, “Beaten”. Sister just recently became involved in the Union and our Local, and is now a Shop Steward defending the rights of our members here in EWR CS at United Airlines.
