Last year a resolution was passed by the delegation at the 40th IAM Grand Lodge Convention to create a Committee on the Future. The group was established to listen to IAM members throughout the United States and Canada to propose new ideas on how to grow the union and develop the next generation of leaders and activists.
A meeting will take place on May 25th, 2023 from 4PM-7PM. The meeting will be held at our very own Local Lodge 914 Union Hall at 160 Spring Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. The Committee on the Future will meet with the IAM Executive Council early in 2024 and report to the 41st IAM Grand Lodge Convention with a full report of their findings and any recommendations for change.
